To the Parents and Guardians of The Hamptons School,
Thank you for continuing to teach your children their purpose ….
I come to The Hamptons School to Learn.
Zoo School and Stampede School Learning Celebrations
Thank You Ms. Stetz’s class and Miss Ringheim’s class for celebrating the learning from Zoo School, with multiple ways of learning and multiple ways of knowing:
- Visual Journal Reflections
- Research on Bears
- Connections – Self, Others and the World Around Us
- Interview with your Special Guests From the Zoo
· Ball Python James
· Silver Back Gorilla Jasiri
· Tiger Sarma
· Giraffe Moshi
· and
· Hippo Sparky. 😊
- Big Question – How are we connected to self, others and the world around us?
- Artistic Representations
We all learned so much from your celebration.
Did you know that a giraffe only needs 5 - 30 minutes sleep each night?
Thank you for inviting the school and your parents.
Thank you for celebrating with spirit, knowledge, pizazz, experience and humor!
Thank you, Ms. Le’s class for celebrating your learning at Stampede School with your creativity, knowledge, visual representation, enthusiasm, teamwork, and experience.
Your displays of your learning were designed with:
- Organization
- Knowledge
- Pride and Care
- Illustrations
- Artifacts
- and
- Excitement
You obviously prepared and practiced!
Thank you for inviting the school and your parents to celebrate your learning:
- Day One - Trolley Tour
- Day Two - Horse Education
- Day Three - Tipi Raising
- Day Four – Big Four
- Day Five – Sam Center
Thank you for displaying your Artistic Representation of your learning, as well.
You are talented artists!
Did you know that horses greet one another by touching their noses? When we greet a horse, we should close our hand, like a fist, let the horse smell our hand and then gently touch their nose.
Thank you to all students for so proudly representing your learning.
… and we know Spring is still trying to Spring!!
We wish everyone a lovely spring break with families and friends.
Spring - “The earth laughs in flowers.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson - poet
In the springtime, the heart regrows hope.”
