Principal's Message - November 10 2023
Dear Hamptons Parents/Guardians:
This week at The Hamptons School
While it was a short week at The Hamptons School it was a busy one! I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of the students and teachers who made outstanding contributions to our recent Remembrance Day assembly. It was a truly memorable and poignant event, thanks to your dedication and hard work.
To our teachers, your guidance and support in helping our young students understand the significance of Remembrance Day and the sacrifices made by those who served in the armed forces were invaluable. Additionally, your commitment to observing Indigenous Veterans Day shows your dedication for culturally response and inclusive education.
To our students, I am incredibly proud of the respect, solemnity, and compassion you exhibited during the assembly. Your performances, readings, and artwork demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of honoring and remembering our veterans. Your dedication to making the assembly a success was evident in every note sung and every word spoken.
Together, you created an atmosphere of remembrance and gratitude that left a lasting impact on all in attendance. Your efforts helped ensure that the sacrifices of those who served in our armed forces will not be forgotten, and that their legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
Finally, I am thankful for the parents, guardians and family members who were able to attend. I am proud of the strong sense of community we have here at The Hamptons School, and the Remembrance Day assembly was a beautiful reflection of that unity.
