Bus Zone

A gentle reminder that parents/guardians are not permitted to stop/idle/park in the bus zone.  Due to increased routes, weather delays and other reasons the bus does not always arrive at a consistent time.  We have noticed a significant increase in cars in the bus zone so we kindly ask that you park in other areas that are designated either on street or in the community parking lot.

Reminder | Dress for the Weather

A quick reminder to send students in clothes that are appropriate for winter outdoor play and learning.  Unless the temperatures fall below -20 Degrees (also known as a “blue day”) students will continue to go outside during both recess times.  Snow pants, winter jacket, hats, gloves and boots will ensure students are warm and able to enjoy their outdoor unstructured play time.

 

 

Reminder | Halloween Costume/Dress Up Day 

A reminder that On Tuesday October 31, we will have Halloween dress up day at school. Staff and students are encouraged to wear costumes. The type of costume should be considered for ages 5-10 and not include weapons, fearful, violent, gory attire, full face masks or promote cultural appropriation. Please send students to school dressed up already and these costumes should also be comfortable to wear all day. We understand that some families would like to share candy with their child’s class, however please refrain from sending any treats.  

 

Photo Retake Day

Photo Retake Day is this coming Thursday, November 2 in the morning only. If you would like retakes done, please email Mrs. Hayashi at cmhayashi@cbe.ab.ca to ensure we have your child’s name on the list. Thank you.
