This week at The Hamptons School…

This week at The Hamptons School we celebrated the start of the second month of school.  All teachers met with Administration and Resource to talk about each student’s learning, celebrations and areas of growth.  This data helps us plan effectively for instruction, intervention and resourcing to support student learning!

The Hamptons School Parents Society is still in desperate need of 3 volunteers for the 11:15 pm – 3:30 am Count Room Shift on Sunday, October 29 & a backup volunteer each for 6:45 pm – 3:30 am & 11:15 pm – 3:30 am shifts on Sunday, October 29. Bottle Drive 

Next Friday the Hamptons School Council is hosting a bottle drive!  Please consider saving your bottles from the long weekend to donate!  There will be a designated drop off spot in the morning, and after school drop off will be between 11am – 1 pm.  Please put any recyclables in plastic garbage bags for easier transport. 

 

Playground Safety

We are hoping each family can discuss playground safety with their children.  We have noticed an increase in injuries resulting from pushing and playing roughly.  We have had these conversations at school as well, but we are hoping that you can reiterate this message at home.
