Welcome Back!
We had a WONDERFUL first two days back at school. It was lovely to greet students and their families on Thursday and Friday morning. You can expect learning updates to resume next week as part of this message.
Open House
We are delighted to welcome all students and their families to our Open House next Thursday, September 5. Our open house will give parents a chance to discover their child’s classroom through a series of stations. The stations will offer parents a consistent experience throughout the school so everyone leaves with the same understanding! Here is how the evening will go:
- Choose ONE time slot. Either 3:30 – 4:30 OR 5:00 – 6:00.
- The stations will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
- Please note the school will be closed from 4:30 pm-5:00 pm for a break for school staff and to reset the stations.
A reminder this is not a sit down parent-teacher conference. We are still getting to know each child as we have only seen them for 4.5 instructional days J
School Council
Our first School Council meeting of the year will take place in person at our school on Wednesday, September 18 starting at 6:30 pm. As a parent/guardian of The Hamptons School you are automatically a member of school council. These two important organizations work to support parental involvement in the school community and enhance student learning. We hope to see you there!
